Ivana Djoric (Solčániová) is an accomplished concert guitarist, performing actively in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria. Her latest solo album, Guitar Fantasia, released in 2021, has been highly praised by the media, including being featured as „CD of the Day“ by Radio Klassik.
Originally from Slovakia, Ivana has lived in Vienna for 15 years, where she pursues both her solo career and her passion for teaching. Her artistic focus lies in creating a distinct tonal quality in original guitar repertoire. Her current solo program, inspired by early music, features a dialogue between the works of John Dowland and Joaquín Rodrigo. In addition to her concert activities, she collaborates with the Slovak Cultural Institute and Siccas Guitars.
Ivana Djoric (Solčániová) studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under Prof. Walter Würdinger. Since 2014, she has been leading a guitar class in Stockerau, Lower Austria, where her students have achieved significant success in recognized music competitions.
